I'm interested in joining. Should have the rig buttoned back up. My B-day is the 18th so my :princess: should let me go.

Just a sidenote. . 4/19 is the same weekend as the M&G for Expeditionportal up in Big Bear.

So Dave, are you torn up between the two? :D

I should be able to to May 19th for the Day, but not able to camp.

I know what you mean.
I havent been a regular at ExPo and I just found out about it from your post. Its great theyre getting more active SoCal LA area members in (compared when it started (AZ heavy then).

I might start visiting more often.

How about working something out with them about meeting and then doing different trails or same trails spaced out, I for one would like to meet and see some of the rigs these guys have. Many are a very similar style to what we have and if we could work something out it may add something to the day...

10-4 on that :D lets team up, maybe big cookout or something. Dave..can you contact them? I'm not really worried about the #'s

5/19 is the only weekend I can make it and we can always have another in the summer for the folks that can't.

BTW I'm bound for CM07 also, so no excuses ;)

Just got the OK from the wife so count me and little D (my son Dylan) in. I pitch the editor of OFF-ROAD Magazine about an article on our little group running some trails in Big Bear. He gave me the two thumbs up so this run will have will be covered in OFF-ROAD Magazine. Please bring your cameras, I can use all the photos I can get.

Yes, I am in advertising, got to pay the bills. Unfortunately the poor editors do not get paid for squat. I enjoy writing about wheeling and wrenching . I want to continue to develop my writing style through tech articles and trail runs. I just pitch the editors my story ideas and they make the call. I feel my writing and photography are getting better but it still need improvement. Hopefully in the future I might actually get paid for one of my articles. Right now I just want to get as many articles as I can published. See where it goes from there.

what is the consensus on a date?? weekend of 5/19 ? If so I'm in.

Cool I have the kids that day and will be there, maybe we can get some good pix wheeling, I still have one on my screen saver from winomar last year with the kids in the back seat, that was a great photo..

If everyone brings a camera we sould be able to get some great photo's....

I do have one question. . . is the parking really shared with La Jolla B or can you put one vehicle up by the Palapa?

I don't think you can get right by the palapa; maybe within 40' or so. La Jolla B is really just an extension/overflow of La Jolla A.

If there are people at B, you'll get to know them by the end of the trip:D
