But the cutoff on the oem lights is going to be pretty bad and will probably blind oncoming traffic.
Sorry for such a dumb question. But when you say cutoff what exactly does that mean?
Ahhh I see
How do you think they would do in those projector style headlights??
Since Depos are hard to come by.

Don't get them. It will not be worth your money. I would just retrofit fx or tsx projectors if i were you. I'm going through that pain as we speak.
The projector route is where i want to go, just finding that cash for that isn't around right now... Especially since there are so many other things much more necessary to do now that I live in the NW...

like getting your truck to the PACNW?![]()
Actually, my set of projector lights came in the mail yesterday and my two sets of HID's (55w 4500K H1) will be arriving today. If all goes as planned, they will be installed this evening and I will post pics when done. After removing them from the shipping boxes for inspection, I was caught off guard because the light assemblies look nicer than I expected. They might not be as nice as the TSX projectors, but they will perform better than reflector lens technology for proper light dispersion/projection. Of course, anything will be better than the oem lights.
Are you retro'ing your own in? Or did you get some pre-maid? Lots off good info out there on the retro process and good sights to get parts to do it. Just from everything I've read a good projector and HID kit will set you back around 500 bucks, then comes the fun of cutting and mounting and making it all look pretty. Someday, but for now I'm going this route. The second pic is not HID but LED city's that I retro'd in while i had them open... Kinda hard to take a pic of the HID's but the light is very clean, not sure about the throw yet will have to check that next week.

Welcome back Matt...so is the truck with you in OR, or are you in NJ?
I was thinking about painting my lights like that. Can't wait to see what they look like on the truck.
I fly into Jersey next Thurs... You up in Riverdale next week? Short stay I get on the road back to OR maybe sunday or Monday... Road trip!
