And driver with injuries from taking the higher g forces

Nah...

A cow is big...and damaging...but its nothing compared to the g-forces the LC is prepared to absorb in more typical collisions.

This is the wake. Quite odd, all the other cows came over and bid their farewells before wandering off in darkness.

Late to the BBQ but how is it that the only brown cow in herd is the one that got hit?

My wife and I were once making an overnight run from 29 Palms to Denver through back desert highways at the start when we passed a cow sign at 120 mph in an Isuzu Impulse. My wife was half asleep and mentioned sometimes there actually were cows on the road. I told her if we hit a cow at 100+ or at 70 mph our vacation is cancelled so I kept up the speed. I came around one more bend to cows in the road. I got slowed/swerved enough to miss them but I did slow down a bit for the rest of that segment.

Glad you guys are alright. I am glad I am not the only one who noticed you killed his only brown cow. WTF?

Not much of an update but a tad bit of progress. Life/work have been crazy busy and I haven't done much with the Cow-Killer-200 until last week. We pulled the damaged front grill, radiator, etc and got it down to the front of the engine. I was quite positive there was no front engine damage but this confirmed it. We did a quick test fire now that the radiator wasn't wrapped around the fan clutch and it fired right to life

The aluminum front bumper reinforcement was completely straight and the frame was unscathed as well. So it's body shop time (well, one of these days)
