What took you so long? :flipoff2:

Reminds me about how I bought my rig. Was looking at within a couple of hours of it being listed. I figure there's nothing worse than thinking about it and then going back to the listing only to find that its been sold within in day. Gotta jump on the nice ones.

And the best part is you don't have to worry about getting upset when the wife takes it to the mall and gets a shopping cart ding. A tree and rock have already given this one some luv :hillbilly:
Is that why you are switching up to the 4Runner Darwalk. The hips are a little too big for you on thes Cruisers? :flipoff2:

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaam! Saturday might be a great day :)

I just couldn't seem to keep the ass end of this beast away from the trees :D

Kinda off topic, but since you mentioned your 4runner:

Here's a nice one. I think this belongs to Ian (greenbomber here on MUD):

1996 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4x4, 35's, E locker, ARB, CLEAN
I have a 2008 4R Limited that I use for work that I want to get some stuff for. I want to make that one look pretty, so I have to get this one gone to do so. I am sad to see this one go, but I know that someone else will have some fun with it.

I am sure you are familiar with daPitbull's Norcal build of his 08 4Runner. It's nice :)

Darrin's Rig Sold To Me!

Sold!!!!!

Good for you! I saw that it had sold and was hoping that it worked out for you. Now you can spend your energy making it your own rather than searching. Congratulations, .

Thanks! Finally, it took almost 3 months. You guys said to be patient and it will come. Well, it did and this rig is bad ass. I think it needs a new platinum wide body battery from sears because it has more bells and whistles it thanks to Darrin. I left the lights on (thinking I am in a newer rig w/ auto off headlights equipped). Drained the battery and had to jump it Sunday AM. Not much else I need to do but add front and rear armor. Some strange squeeking noises from underneath somewhere. Other than that...all good :) :bounce: :bounce2:

Congrats. Now let's hit the trails.

Thanks Matt! Surely once I get three things taken care of. Larger battery and strange noises that say "I miss Darrin". Possible U Joint or maybe even the brake wear warning feature. Also the exhaust needs a fix where the cats are. For now it's my DD.

Let me know when you want to put in the new battery. I just did mine and learning what I did will save you some time and headache.

Battery drained again. It can take a jump and scangause reads 14.6 and handheld is similar to that reading when it's running. When off it drops to 12.6. and decreases. I think the battery is toast.

Check it about an hour after you shut off the truck. If it's below 12.2 ish it's done dizzle. Take it into any autoparts store or Costco and have it bench tested to be sure. If you trickle charge it with some new electrolytes you may get a few more weeks out of it if needed or maybe not. ;)

Darrin, just like me would sometimes let the truck sit in the garage for a couple of months and the batt would die. I think in the 10-12k miles he had it he put 2-3 batteries in it. :D

Now that I no longer have an infant, mine is getting out more.
