No sweat....just let me know..always willing to ride.

Thinking of putting together a Slee order for some 100 stuff if there is anything you want to throw in there.

Road ride sunday would work for me. The trails will be very wet tomorrow and sunday. So, any suggestions on road rides and time?

That's a vertical wall . . . :crybaby: How about something nice and easy to start the season off. Maybe the River Ride or the Butter Ride in Henderson County. I've got a nice 23 mile ride from my house, down to the river, and back.

There's a good ride 2morrow meeting across the street from the Well Bread Bakery in Downtown Weaverville. Meet 12:45, ride at 1:00. 35 miles 1875' of climbing. Very nice ride thru Mars Hill. I'll b at the back since I've been sick. Avg 4 this group is 14mph. No 1 left bhind.

Tim,

I'll be there at 12:45! That sounds like a good season opener. Merle, glad you got in a ride today. I had to finish up putting in a a new sidewalk before the rain came ine.

Weaverville is very different than the rest of the world . . . those blue stripes are for "2 hour parking," which we of course violated:grinpimp: Cruisers and bikes. UPSTATE CRUISERS CYCLING TEAM

Timbo,

The absolute best mountain bike ride I know of starts from the fish hatchery, climbs up a steep forest service road (476?), and comes down through single track finishing up on the "hydraulics" alongside the Davidson River. Some people call it the "Caney Bottoms" ride.

Merle,

The Assault on the Carolinas is more of a mugging or a simple afray. It's a great ride and I usually take the shorter 50 mile option this early in the season.
