And personally, while Mickey is a perennial entertainment fixture, my vote goes to the Hendog for an outstanding committment to transforming alcohol into entertainment! I might just have to go to Atlanta for an encore![/QUOTE]

That was the Hendog I channel his spirit at cruiser events but I don't always understand it myself... My theory is PostTramaticStressSyndrom. The true star of the weekend was Sue --- AKA also known as the Queen of De-Lights!!! Pun intended. The Ga Boys had a BLAST. Thanks everyone-you know who you are. I didn't want it to end.

did anybody buy that 75 for sale...?

wadja think of that?

I think the biggest issues with getting in/out at high tide were the folks towing trailers.

Many of the larger RVs and/or toy hauler folks (farther north than SnT) camp at just the edge of high tide since they can't get too far from firmer sand. So then when high tide occurs they are occupying the best route in/out which forces folks either into the ocean water or higher in the soft dune sand.

Timing is everything ;)

We are usually right down near the water but checked the tide charts and the surf report and opted instead to camp higher this year. In fact ended up (next to some friends who staked out a spot) on the hill overlooking snt camp. By the way, the soft sand was not an issue with the popup or toyhauler.

BK, Surfpig, Pighead, 55Guy, Snailwagon, Nat, Mark, and the one with the roof rack big enough to land an airplane, was it also the one for sale? Or were there Nine?

Seemed like more.

One more, I cant remember his name right now. Blue: "Ajax" painted on the front fenders...

Sacto area pigs were well represented, indeed.

Huge thanks to Jim and Katherine for another great SnT! It was great to see all of you again.

Missed the poker run this year due to my son's soccer game, but still had a blast. I convinced my parents to bring out there 200 series, on the premise that they could walk the camp and look at all the cool rigs. Finally convinced my dad to air down and take it out in the dunes. :p

He started off a little timid and by the end was doing some awesome donuts and throwing sand everywhere, while we all watched and wished we had that much power in our rigs.

Sunday I did something I've wanted to do for awhile now. We took advantage of the snowy plover area being open and drove over to where we could hike to Oso Flaco Lake. It was a nice little hike in, weather was great, and the lake was way better than I had thought it would be. It was pretty cool to park the rigs in the dunes and hike in. :)

Only pics I got:

Oh yeah, who were the fools on the lifted golf cart who did a couple laps inside the main camp by the fire around midnight? You guys came a couple feet from hitting my tent twice with my little boy sleeping in it.:flipoff2:

Somehow we missed seeing you and your van out on the beach Chris

I saw you guys early Fri. morning when I stopped by to drop off my trailer to secure my spot and to give Jim a bunch of donuts, but you guys looked like you just woke up and I had to get back to work.

Didn't have the van out there this year, I was in my 4runner. I hope to have the van in better shape for next year's SnT. :) She was full of tools from working all day Friday and needs a fan clutch and an ebrake cable. Last time I had her out there a month ago, I blew a bead and snapped my exhaust in half. :D
