you're not actually planning to have a prize for the shortest driving distance, are ya? :D

oh, and our Canuck good friends should be automatically out of the running for the longest distance prize because they already have all the cool toys (well, unless they bring plenty of good canadian  and poutine to share)

(edited for accuracy... :))

Me too, me too! I don't require much room and will try to find some Bio in SLO so I'm not too stinky!

Any locals know where I can get bio-diesel? Edit: found a chevron cardlock in SLO with Bio.

Hopefully I'll be headed up on Friday early afternoon (if I can figure out why the break booster decided to stop working).

I have a question for folks, and figured the SnT thread would be the best.

I'm running 33x9.5s now on my 40, and was wondering what others are running for tire pressures in the sand. I know the 9.5s have issues is very low pressures as they are as wide as the sidewall is tall.

Leaving in about an hour, gong to meet skillet and head on down. See you guys soon!

I go to 8 psi on my MTRs but thats a wide tire, try 14 and see how you do

I do like 20. I'm gonna try lower, what the hell?

Hey Biscuit.

I run 31x9.5 swampers on my 40 and typically drop them down to between 12 and 15 psi for the dunes. Get's the job done without an issue and so far no bead problems. Hope that helps.

will i be able to drive in at 11pm or all through the night on any given night?

From what I know, yes, but first thing the next morning, high tail it back to the entrance and pay the man.

Better yet, pay the $7.50 fee to ReserveAmerica and put the reservation confirmation email in your window until you do get back to the entrance. May save you a ticket.

Thanks for the info...I'll use it if I can get the last few technical issues with my 40 fixed tomorrow.

Now it needs a new break booster...doubt the rebuilt carb is going to get installed, looks like the P.O.S. weber is going to make the trip if I decide I can tolerate it's problems for a 4hr drive one way.

Catching the big bird in the morning..Landing in LA around 10:30...seeing the inlaws for a bit and then heading to Pismo in his Range Rover....Wonder how it will do jumping the dunes

Can I bring anything from the south for yall!!

Be there tomorrow evening.

Anyone coming from nor cal with some Etna Ale??? :D
