Ok, so there are a million ways to crash in the back of a land cruiser. But the trade off is always there.
I've got a RTT, but I miss not being able to pack a canoe. The added height is a real issue on some
trails. I built a wooden platform for a cot I have, but once it's in there it's a real pain to do anything
else with the rear area then.
So after keeping my eyes peeled someone in the camping section posted up about this one cot.

Little Ibex Roll-a-Cot®, 67"long x 28"wide x15"tall

This is the only 2 legged cot, which means it will slide over the wheelwells. All others are 3 legs
and that has been the deal breaker for me. This is 15", but the cool feature is they made it dual layered so a therma rest pad can slide in between the two layers, and the sellers say it makes the side bars less
noticeable. If you are like me and have impact joint injuries, pressure points and sleeping on hard ground
just ain't happening any more. So the cot is kinda the next step.

So I'm going to get one pretty quick and if anyone is interested they can check mine out and see if
it is for them. Look for pics in the camping section under camping cots for pics saddletramp posted
in his 80.

Ordered Ibex Roll-a-Cot, Now FREE Custom Air Mattress

Short term offer includes an air pad with the cot. it's a two layer cot and the pad slides in between.
With the new drawers recently acquired from Vancouver, I should be stylin' and be able to travel solo
with bed made, equipment organized.

I also included the adjustable table. It has infinite adjustable legs in 1" increments for uneven
ground, cause V Is is so flat!

So I got them. I ordered the shorter version of cot, and the adjustable legs table. They both roll up into a 5" diameter roll.
The table almost adjusts to compensate for the 15" cot. This will be really nice to set up on uneven ground. It's got alum strut
that makes the slats of the table firm, and the blue vinyl guarantees it can sit out in the rain with no problems at all.
The cot is short enough to fit in the back of the BJ74!

Pics in the back of the 74 and then the 60. The new drawers are in the 60 now, just to see how they fit. You can see the thermarest inside the cot layers, it was designed to hold a pad. Very cool, and it's as comfortable as I have ever been in the back of a truck. And
I had to haul a load of cedar in the 74 today as the guts are out of the 60.
