thanks to 2ndGenToyotaFan for the invitation,

looks like a great site, so I look for advise as to what to say and do over here.
looks friendly not like pirate. Kind of like my home site, (am I right there?).

I am pretty good with the 84 and 85 Toyota's. I have built a few now.
so if I can help people out with their build ups I am willing.
I can only share what I have done. I also give credit to anyone that has helped me learn more, cheaper, better, money savers. what works and what doesnt.
so I hope that I will find a second toyota home here.

I have had many conversations about the 84-85 Toyota's.

and unless you go over sea's or spend a heck of alot of money, the Toyota's are the toughest stock, mass produced 4x4 that have ever come on the market. even now, 23 years ,,,,,,,, get that, some of you are not even that old. I would put my 85 against any ( mass produced cheap) truck out there.

I had a guy in a hummer giving me a bunch of crap... about my toy. I said you have me beat in horse power and weight that is a given.
but I think the true mark of a off road truck is where it can go.. are you game? ( oh he was one of those, goatee, aviator glasses kind of guy) he said heck yes, I will take you on any where any time and my hummer will run circles around your little toyota. I said ok... lets play follow the leader. I will lead untill there is something that I can't make that you can, you can lead.... ect 2 out of 3 kind of thing.
well we took off with me in the lead. I didn't drive more then 10 feet, between two trees and he called it off..:D

oh trust me I can go on and on. have owned chevy, ford, dodge, and I rock crawl a toyota, my wife has her own also.

so I digress,,, but I hope that I can add to this site and save the toyota fans some money.

sorrry, I became missouriman about 15 years ago. I now live in western south dakota. I have kept the handle or name because so many people in real life know me as that.
sorry if it is misleading.
Missouri, I love finger lakes by Columbia, the river fishing. I HATE ticks. man all three sizes of them.
we won't talk about chiggers. I hate them also.
Missouri had 2 wonderful weeks in the spring and 2 more in the fall.
other then that it was to hot, to cold, or just sucked...
just my .02

and there was something weird about wasps..... they would come out of no where to get me.. I tried different shampoo, after shave, everthing..
I was not ment to live there.
