As an owner of a sliderless, stock-bumpered, oem-shocked LX with a fresh OME heavy lift and two :princess: 's along for the ride, I vehemently agree with you Brent.

I know we bash heeps, but all of them that I've ever met on trails have been nice folks.

YOPO - Roberto Miranda wheels alot with an Orange County Heep group alot and has fun with them.

Agreed, it is fun to Joke about Heeps and such, but almost all I have dealt with in the past are great people too. I have no problem mixing in and wheeling with them. My only concern was a slow go due to crowding. Thankfully that doesn't look like it will be a problem.

Just so long as we stay off of John Bull or anything similar. I'm not up for rock bashing mini-Rubicon.

Don't blame either of you, perhaps some of the more equipped of the group can run John Bull while the sliderless can run a different trail for part of the day. A morning run and afternoon run sort of thing. What do you think?

Well - I'm slidered and lifted, but winchless so I could probably do it, but bashing rocks just isn't my thing.

Mo - agreed, when I first glanced at the link Kevin posted, I just saw the yellow circle and thought it was the California 4WD Association - and they are big. WE should be ok.

How long of a trail is it?

No complaints here of taking it easy in the AM and having a nice breakfast and heading out around 10ish.

Whatever works! :D

Most trails up there are short enough that doing two in a day is not a problem.

Sorry to hear that! I might pass too, long story, but the NEW car might not be ready!

Anyway, here is the reply i got from the club running those trails that day, leaving at noon for the trail head is fine with me!! Would be nice to have a relaxed AM with some good breakfast!:

Hi Kevin,

Well.......I'd wait until at least Noon on Saturday to hit your trail head. We will have 2 groups of at least 30 rigs leaving, I'd hate to have you guys "stuck" while we get as many as 60 rigs thru a technical part of the trail.

Call my Husband Ron if you have any other questions, and THANKS for asking!

Ray, no hint neccessary. I wanted to volunteer for something but I am not sure if I will be able to make it. I am currently on my back with my feet elevated (not that you perv) :flipoff2:. I had surgery on both of my feet on Thursday. I would be happy to contribute but I was worried about letting you guys down if I can't make it. That is why I have been unusually quiet on this thread lately. :D Good news is it looks like I might be able to make it as my feet are healing well and if they continue I am in. I will be solo though, the :princess: can't make it and I can't keep up with a 14 month old yet. I won't be able to hike around with everyone but I should be able to wheel and drink by the fire:beer: . What is needed for food or drink? I have a ton of camping supplies so I can bring extras for the group. Another lantern, I have 6 chairs if any extras are needed, many coolers, stove etc. I'm not flaking on you guys, let me know.
