Been doing some work to the car in preparation for a trip this weekend. My mate is parting out his hzj73 so I scored a bunch off it.

-Sun visors
-Power winder switches, mine all work now!
-Washer bottle
-Dash pad with central POD, originally for the inclometer, I will eventually use it for more switches
-Pair of sports seats and rails
-Misc gaskets and bearings
-Tail lights and mirros which I go through alot of
-Maybe a spare roof later on

Also repaired a rear hub and bearings which were no good.

Also was cleaning up the shed and put this pile together, all knackered rear end shafts, lucky they are cheap and easy to fix!

I've just read your entire thread start to finish, very interesting and entertaining, thanks. ;)

I love what you've done with your truck and love that you do hard trips!

I recognize a few of the tracks but not all of them. That Barkley River Jeep track is a good one, I drove that 18 months ago and had to do a fair bit of winching as the snow was quite deep.

I'd love to get on a trip with you guys some time as I enjoy driving the harder stuff too. :)

Can you please elaborate on repairing these shafts. How do you repair these snapped shafts?

Yeah mate, shafts are no good, re-purposed as other things. I have heard of guys welding them in a pinch, which would work fine if you really need them.

Thanks CHAS404! Plenty of great country side and I only live in a small corner, much more to explore.
