Side Marker Lights - Still Available?

I can call CDan in the morning, but wondering if these side marker lights for our Piggies are still available?

I think there is some cross-over with the 40 marker lights as well?

The marker lights for the 55 are the same as a 40, but the rubber gasket between light and body may be different...

Lil'John tackled this one in a post I found from a few years back. If I remember correctly the lights are exactly the same but the gaskets are the problem just like Pighead said. The trick is to move the front gaskets to the back and the back gaskets to the front. It looked very nice and matched the fender contour very well. From what he found, the 40 and the 55 have similar contours but on opposite ends. Did that make sense?

That's what I read too. Gaskets just needed to be flipped around front to back or whatever.

Thanks, I do remember some nuance about the front vs. rear body gaskets.

My biggest question is - can you still get these from Toyota (even it is for 40's)?

Toyota Parts East has them listed as available for the FJ40. $32 each. I think CCOT also has them but if I remember, the price is little bit scary.

Just went to Toyota Parts East to double check before posting a link and "poof", gone. I hate that when it happens. Just like you said. The front is no longer available and the back is still in stock.

Went to CCOT and they do still have them. Both front and back. Back isn't too pricey but the front hurts. This is the kind of stuff that kills you when you are trying to piece one of these back together but it's not like you have a lot of choice but to pay it. Anyway, here's the link.

The lens looks different...but CCOT says it is a genuine Toyota part?
