Ok guys who is in for the Sicily Island ride ? It would be great to have a strong showing of Cottonlanders at a Bayou State event! They come and cook to pretty much all our rides..

Sicily Island Ride with Cottonland

A thread to discuss a November ride at Sicily Island with our good neighbors from Cottonland I added a poll with two dates so please vote on the date you'd like to see it happen or that you're avaliable to go so we can get something on the calendar ( November 5-7 was the outcome). Good company, wheeling, its gumbo weather and SEC Football it don't get any better than that.


Drive time is 3 1/2 hrs from Lafayette, It'll be 2 - 2 1/2 from Jackson.
Price is $25 for the day, $30 for the weekend. $10 for additional passengers.
Deere Creek camp ground accross the street they do have a shower shed and full hook-ups for a few campers.

The ORV section is located at the next intersection take the left and go all the way down to the gravel circle and deer creek campground is on your right.

Probably leaving friday AM. Not sure if the park allows early birds.

I guess if we wanted to go earlier the Deere creek campground wouldn't mind.

I don't think they are affiliated with rock crawling park.

Got drill but I will see what I can do. When would we leave?
 
I'm planning on coming down for Friday night but will have to see. I have a catering gig on Saturday.
 
It looks like I'm in. My trip to Vegas is the following weekend. I'll Probably leave out Friday night.
 
As of now, I plan to be there (at least Friday night and Saturday.) Val's already obligated (her boyfriend will be in town that weekend), so I'm going to ask her if I can take her 80.....she avoided getting any paint damage in Arkansas, so maybe I can get some for her in Louisiana!
 
Could be a nice turnout.....Snake Farm might be rockin with "DJ Jazzy Bomar" in da hisssouse!

I agree, but if it is raining I ain't going. There may be some rocks there but it is still Louisiana......

So we are staying at the Deere Creek Campground?
