Cool. Had not considered putting the whole inverter there

Thanks everyone for the ideas. Here is what I ended up doing.

Left = 12VDC Blue Sea, Middle = 110V / 100Watts Toyota, Right = 2x USB Blue Sea

First two pics below show the finished, installed unit. (Well, partially finished I should say. I haven't yet selected the inverter I want to use, so just physically installed the outlet today. I will wire it up once I figure out which inverter I want to go with.)

Third pic is the underside of the console, showing the wire routing for the 12VDC and the USB outlets. I have front and rear seat heaters installed if you are wondering what all the other harnesses/connecters are for.

Fourth pic is a view of the connectors on the floor side. I wanted to have all the connecters in one general area, which is why I routed the outlet wiring up towards the front of the console.

Wow. you guys have some really nice set ups. I was about to go that rout with hard wired Blue sea stuff and so n. But my cruiser came with a CHEAP 3 cigarette plug "thing". It is super cheap but works perfectly. Rather than reinvent the wheel i just hard wired it to the power switch for the rear heater which is removed on my truck because i use a sleeping platform. This simple setup with a cheap USB plug has been working great for two years. Super cheap and simple.

y'all need to label them wires, MEH.......

I added USBs and 12V power ports to the front console and 12V power ports and a 400W 110AC inverter to the rear of the console.

The inverter is where the CD changer on the LX used to be and the auxiliary fuse panel that feeds everything is mounted where the original subwoofer was located in front of the center console. The old speaker grill is easily removed to access the fuse block.

Mingles, awesome setup. How did you avoid the airbag module when installing the outlets above your H L shifter? I am installing 2 Blue Sea outlets there and can't seem to keep them from hitting the module.
Thanks,
Brendan

Thought I'd show a pic or two of my non-Oem install, but at least has close to OEM paint on it so doesn't stick out and cry "slapdash":crybaby:

It

It's not a full width one, but narrower (9"? and offset to the right) so I can reach the handbrake and have space for my CB, plus the fire ext. I used the lower foot provided with the Tuffy on the floor, then added suitable legs to level things above. The inverter tucks under the Tuffy and the plug array fits on the back. This does clear the folded 2nd seat, but my console is rather far forward because I need the elbow support for my bad right shoulder. The cupholder is from Tuffy (came with the console IIRC)

The clearance is VERY close. If you look at my outlets, half the depth actually protrudes out from the face of the console. Even then, I still had to use flag terminals to get the wires to exit the back of the outlets at 90 degrees headed straight down. It fits, but it is tight. I first tried a flush mount outlet and it was too deep. That flat surface is angled perfect for viewing and begs to have gauges/outlets put there :D so I just kept searching. I found the one I used on Amazon and the labels are Blue Sea leftovers from another project.

Plenty of outlets for all my accessories :)

Doesn't every Cruiser need one? I like to keep my passengers guessing:D

I used to have a prominently placed label on the dash of another truck that read "Keep Seat Belts Fastened At All Times - Life Vest Located Under Seat". That generated a few raised eyebrows;)

Here's what I did a few years back.

digging this thing back out. I have read of people using the coin slots, but what USB plugs are folks using for that? Didn't see anything in this thread or others stating what part to search for. Is that slot same size as standard toyota switches?

I had seen this before and the light coming out of the 12V sockets caught my eye. So you added LEDs inside the sockets? Could you share a close up pic of where exactly you installed the LEDs?
i was reading back through this and saw where you asked about the LEDs in the power outlets. All I did was use marine power plugs that are molded plastic. I drilled a small hole the size of the led and hot glued it into the hole so the light would shine out of the socket. I also did this in the console and the square cup holder in front of the shifter.
I'm going to add some more plugs in the back so I'll be sure to take photos when I add light to them.

Adding mine since this thread is a little outdated and can no longer get a dometic small center console fridge. I found this below center console fridge on Amazon for ~$170 bucks w/free shipping. Uses cigarette lighter. Ran new power line from battery, tapped the ACC at the “PWR/2nd” switch for A/T and picked up a push button switch. Test fit and sat too high so I cut a piece of wood and made my own mounting bracket to sit an inch lower. It’s still a little high but what the hell. Added a 12v 30A relay to the switch then mounted a 600W inverter on the rear underneath my wood mat. I have 5 USB ports, wireless charging, a refrigerator and two 110 outlets. Looking forward to using the refrigerator and power in the summer.
