I would never trust my e brake this much!!
I had a 55 Pig and parked it on a hill just like that one time and the brake let go. I ran after that truck as fast I could - dove through the open window and jammed it in gear. The truck made a horrible sound and slid to a stop - I laid there on the seat with my legs hanging out the window and my heart pounding like a rabbit.
That was the last time I ever parked on a hill..........

BTW I used to own an 81 blue FJ40 with stock power steering and stock air. I sold it to pay for graduate school. I should have kept it and stayed dumb!

New to me in Aug.
I sold my cruiser about 6 years and whined about it ever since so my wife bought this for me for our 25th anniversary. I will keep them both.

This is mine, but its down right now for offroad damage repair. lol Hopefully have done or good write up on here by next spring

this is actually where some of the damage happened. lol
That is called el Peñol, Colombia, in my friend´s cabin, very nice place to cruise around, the people of these towns use land cruisers as a way of public transportation.

Lol... Sandrats rig probably WOULD go anywhere and back IF he actually wheeled it. Lol. It a very nice rig.
This is the color I've been planning on going with. It's going into paint this Sunday. What do you guys think? I'll of course post some pics when it's finished.
