First post here- Picked up a 2006 LX470 with 177k miles on it. Everything is great except the AHC is not working. The fluid tank is totally empty and the globes need to be replaced. I have everything ordered for that fix but now I see that fluid is (was) leaking from the top of the shock where the hose connection is. Does the whole shock need to be replaced or is there something else that can be done here? Thank you!

Your AHC pressures need to be corrected. Search “ABCs of AHC”

Since you’re from the NE I’d take a close look at the AHC lines and decide if they are still in good enough condition to r&r or the rust has gone too far and it’s appropriate for a conversion to standard suspension.

No way to tell if shock bad, until leak fixed. Shock leaks, are seen on bottom half. Likely the hose leaking, but could the O-ring in hose end on shock. I see shocks rubber bushings look bad. So plans on those also, which came with shock or purchased separately.

Globes? Why, did you remove and find blader shot.
