Looks like your hood flies open when you flex it out now. Add that to the to do list...

Nope. That buzzing is from those blue neon lights you just had to put under your 40 saying they were rock lights.

Found out I have nearly everything I needed to rebuild my hub sitting in a parts bin. Just need bearings and the washers as well as the inner lockout gear. Woohoo.

very cool.... if the other parts option doesn't work out. Olympic has several FJ40s they're parting out - and you're almost going by them on the way to Leavenworth.

Family didn't want to go after all. Darn it. Just took my front drive shaft for rework. Had a bad u-joint too. I cleaned up the hub sealing surface and think it will be fine

well that was 'simple' the distributor moved again.... I'm going to replace the clamp (again). Never before have I had such trouble keeping it clamped.

Glad to hear it was a simple fix. I have never had one move after being clamped down. Weird.
