Has anyone tried the Sherpa 4x4 winches? They are in Oz but say there is free shipping to the US.

    4WD Winches - Sherpa 4x4

Their winches are available in 24v for people that may have this requirement and are priced alright rather than running around trying to rig up a conversion for a 12v .... but of course that depends on quality.
    Any experience?

Looks like another re-branded Badlands winch. You can get those at your local HF for about $300. There's enough good options here in the states that you shouldn't need to go looking for a unicorn somewhere else.

Nope. You missed the point. (Or did not read the post.) They are 24 volt. Can't get a 24v from HF or hardly anywhere in the US. I have a 24v 70 series.

Interesting. That 17,000 lb dual motor Mule looks pretty cool. Would be good for a fully
    loaded rig, redundancy in motors.
