Time for some tech

After talking to Charles,nolen, georg, various speed shops and bossman, we will try out a 7 inch dual diaphragm brake booster, 1 1/8 bore with matching master cylinder. I got one ordered from Speedway along with a proportioning valve, brake light switch T fitting, all possible fittings, pedal clevis, adapters for $310 shipped.

I hope this works. If not then I'll try the hydroboost. I was looking at the hydroboost setup on my duramax and the reservoir is extremely tall. That particular one would not fit under the hood of the 40. That's something I will need to keep in mind if I have to go that route.

Might be time for sheila's first wrenching session ; )
