Received this from Tommy Darrell of Car Crazy fame.. He was at our event filming. Our event stuff isn't ready but they're getting SEMA stuff ready.

Pretty sick and crazy.. An old FJ-45, What appeared to be a LWB 45 Removable top with an Official used rebuilt Nascar motor in it.. Not for the purist but very very cool. Retro Toyota styling meets Sick motor and street rod. All Toyota motor tho!

Pass this on as they need more people to view so they' ll see just how "Car Crazy" we are bout our LandCruisers.. I think Tommy saw some of the sickness at our event!

Post up comments here so we can show just how "Car Crazy" we actually are..

I guess the styling isn't quite my bag - why not a 600 HP motor in an FJ Cruiser?

The chopped off/shortened hood and narrowed/custom bed just don't do it for me, I guess. The customizing treatment could have been more subtle - chop the roof, french a few things, etc.

Yeah, I agree. Why try so hard to make an FJ45 look like a Ford hotrod? The styling of the FJ45 is so unique, they could have done it justice by keeping it mostly original and integrating that TRD engine. 600HP wheeler! :bounce:

I like it!

id drive it!

Great concept for a rod.:D

Execution? FJ = a white roof and a bezel (any style). :frown:

Why kill the unique Land Cruiser dash? It didn't have a huge steering wheel before? Was the script on the tailgate just too big? Ford tail lights...... could have ordered a set of FJ25 lights from Marv.

I like it, but I do think they should have kept a little more FJ in her. But good
PR for sure and that is what they are all about. Sell more FJ's. Which, I have noticed in Atlanta seem to be piling up on the deal lots vs. flying off as Toyota sales people would have you believe.
