It was great seeing another Land Cruiser in our area. What do you have powering it?Thank you for the compliments!
The funny thing is, I don’t think I’ve ever seen your truck Matt. It was just a lucky guess, based on remembering you have the early heater and fuel tank, and that you live by the coast in the OC.Oooooh. Caught me.
good catch on the tail light size and missing windshield vent. Still a vey nice ride.My guess is it's a 1965 production date. Non heater model with no vent in windshield frame. Footman loops on the back corners, pads and windshield hold hooks on the hood was it originally a FST model? Or right around the start of universal hard top and soft soft being able to switch between models? Thread holes for the safety strap eyebolts would tell which model it is. Small details I would switch, the tail lights to smaller used on this model and clear lenses on the bib lights. Passenger side mirror was added. That's a safety feature which most would want.
It has an engine from a 1968 cruiser. That was done before my time.It was great seeing another Land Cruiser in our area. What do you have powering it?
