You could always install a breathalyzer switch on the ignition. You have to blow into it for so many seconds before it will allow you to press the security code then start the engine. Typical start time is about 2 minutes.

Set it up on a relay so you need to have the key on first (provides power to the relay) then fully depress the accelerate to the floor second (to activate the relay) then it is ready to start. This set up lets you go through the motions without anyone (in the vehicle) noticing you have a theft system in place. Even if you give your keys up you are covered. Not 100% but think who fully depresses the pedal in a FI vehicle anymore when starting or for any reason?

When you steal a vehicle (dont ask me how I know this) you dont turn the key on then start it its normally done in one motion and if it doesnt start you dont trouble shoot it.

The relay can control the EFI system or the fuel pump.

One thing more that you could do, I don't remember from where did that thing my elder brother got installed from in the car. He setup a switch near the clutch without pulling it the engine won't start. That's a masterpiece. I'll let you know once I get to know.
No
After living in Costa Rica for three years where car theft is definitely an issue, it got me thinking about the security of my 80. I only carry liability, so I would be screwed if it got stolen. I hate car alarms and don't trust someone to hack up my wiring harness. A while back I read an article about wiring in a hidden rocker switch for.the fuel pump that would render the vehicle undriveable. Anyone done something similar?
No Offense, i would not share with you if I know, because how do I know if you are a good guy.
