Hey Y'all, Tuesday was a sad day for me. After picking up my freshly painted snorkel from TorFabs body guy. I was heading to pick up my daughter from day can heading down Olson place twards the first ave South bridge when a person needed to get over the get onto the bridge and pulled in front of me just as the light was turning red and all the cars in front of us were stopping. they put their brakes on and due to the fresh rain, the fact that I needed new tires, and a prettty slick road anyways. I lost traction. As I started to slide I had a choice. Hit the car in front of me possibly the one in front of them an possibly injure a person or people. Or I could aim the a tree on the side of the road. Well not sure now if it was the right decision or not but I chose the tree. And boy did I hit it good! Pretty much squared it on the passenger side tow point smashing the grill, pass quarter panel, and bending the frame where it connects to the bumper. Insurance is almost positively going to total the truck.

It is sad but it will be the start of a new chapter. At this point I will be removing all of my aftermarket parts and selling them. I can't stomach doing all of the work again right now and I just spent the last 6 months dealing with a pesky engine swap.

I will be selling:
A set of Dobinson drawers w/fridge slide, used but no damage they work great.
A dissent Rear bumper w/both a spare tire and accessory swing, also used but functional and in good condition.
A Frontrunner rack with high lift jack mount, awning mount, RTT mount, and pare tire mount.
A stet of Slee Siders w/AHC covers and ground lights
A set of Slee Skids, Need to get them off to access but looks like they are good post impact, TBD.
An APB Duad compressor w/Slee mount.
A Slee Group 31 battery tray.
A set of 4 Tundra TRD wheels one with an un used KO2 on it. It was my spare. I would have 8 if it didn't need wheels on it.
A comeup winch depending on whether I can get to it.

If you think of parts you need let me know. I have till Tuesday I think.

Here is some eye candy for ya.

Oh man, hope you’re okay!

I felt this one.

My LC was just totaled by State Farm, in WA, they paid me just about what I paid for it! Hopefully you’re paid out well. Keep us updated.

Always better not to involve people in the accident! Good choice and don’t regret that!

So much good stuff! Put up a classified ad I bet you get a lot of traffic.

It really sucks. Sorry for the loss.

I'm interested in the Slee Group 31 battery tray. Do you also have the Slee terminals? Some pics and state they are in will be appreciated.

That sucks, but I think you made a good choice and saved someone a potentially significant injury.

@raincityrider damn that really sucks and hope you are doing well.

I'll drop you a PM but I might be interested in the rear bumper.

Even if that doesn't work out, I'm up in Greenwood and should be around a little on Sunday and Monday if you need an extra set of hands for anything.

I am getting your messages. I am spending time now to get parts off of the vehicle before insurance takes it. I will reply once I have everything pilled and organized. Front bumper last night, Winch looks good. Gonna work on the rear and drawers Monday.

I will let you know if I need a hand on Monday.

I pulled everything but the battery and hope to get to it tonight. I am working on price and will let everyone that has messaged me know. I will go in a first come first serve order based on messages here and in DM.

Posted this in another spot on the forum, but figured I'd check here too...anyone know if Stampede Pass is accessible from the Greenwater side? I was out there in mid August and the access road was closed / washed away.

I haven’t but there is another spur that connects to FS-70 called blowout creek. I usually go north to south from 90 because you get a better view of rainier. If you go that way and the road is washed out you can do a short double back and pickup the other spur.

I believe we tried that, and the gate to that road was also blocked off.

Not sure if I'll head down to check it out, I'll drop an update back here if I do.

Hey Y’all
Updates for me. I ended up getting a 2021 Ford Ranger Tremor. So a bit of a new chapter.

Anyway, all the big items are gone. I still have a few small bits though.
One Tundra spare never driven on tire KO2 275/65 R18 E range load.

8 TRD hub caps 3 in packaging one 6mos used 3 used one needs love. This is the worst.

Slee group 31 Battery Tray
Lots of Toyota lugs
2cans of AHC juice new never opened
Cosmetic rear receiver cover
Reverse lights and red lights from R end

Oh and the big thing is the beautifully bodyworked and painted satin black Monster Service Snorkel it took me 8 months to get. Would love to recoup cost on this one, $1300, if interested I will provide receipts. No low balls please.

Local pick up only for now.

Also if anyone wants my F’ed up bumper for spare parts it is free.

I’ll post more as I clean up after the chaos.

Cheers, hope I’m still invited on the trails with y’all!
