Anyone else have the black track/slider (not sure what it's called) stick out from their rear of their front seats? Any fixes? The seat is still fully functional and moves under power but I can't get the black track to slide back under the cushion area (without applying so much force that it could bend/break). Any way to fix before a passenger accidentally steps on it and breaks it off?

This is a 98 LX470 if that makes a difference.

Mine does a little. I could reinsert it if I slide the seat back, and then apply pressure while sliding it forward. Took a couple passes. Not sure if this might help you. Otherwise, I haven’t truly fixed mine.

I had the same issue. Unfortunately one of my kids did step on it and it did break. My seat continues to work though.

If you push your seat all the way up it’ll go in. Then put your finger where it would come back out and it should stay in while you move the seat back. Worked for me at least

Thanks for asking that question. Mines been like this for months except it sticks out the front side
