It’s about time I get around to fixing the worn out drivers seat in my ladies GX. Had looked at lseat covers in the past. I think $350 for both front seats. Anybody with experience using these or other recommendations?

Takes the better part of a day if you have done it before. They fit pretty well for $350 but are not perfect.

You can save money if you DIY…but I paid an auto upholstery shop $400 to do it for me.

You can see photos here on the day they were installed. Then they styled in after a month and looks better (see photo below)…

I ordered the set. I’ll try my luck with the passenger seat first and if it doesn’t go well I’ll bring to a shop. Thanks

Where are you getting the replacement covers from? I need to do mine pretty soon.
Lseat. They arrived. Haven’t had a chance to tackle the install yet but they look to be decent quality. Color match isn’t exact.

Thought I’d give a quick update in case anyone was looking into the lseat covers. I got around to installing them a couple of days ago. Not a difficult job and the covers fit pretty well. The big issue is that the clips on the seat bottom cushion where they attach to the side were actually sewn on backwards from lseat. I wasn’t able to complete the job without taking them to an upholstery shop to have the clips removed and sewn on properly. Color match and quality are good but this mistake on their part turned this pretty easy diy job into a bit more work.

Nice, can you share any photos? I've been in the market for some replacement covers.

I really like my Wet Okole covers.

Hold up - that’s a thing?
I have my third row seats sitting in a closet, and they’re immaculate shape.
Are you having a shop do this?

Yes, I’m having a custom car interior guy do it, friend of a friend thing. There’s quite a bit of leather there and I’ve been told by others that did it that there’s enough for one seat once you cut it up. It’s a lot more labour but the leather is free so it might work out okay price wise. If you have a common interior colour you might find more unused seats out there.

Good to know. Thanks! I’ll have to call some upholstery shops around me to get quotes. Would be great to keep the oem leather and fix the front seats instead of grabbing aftermarket replacements.

Wet Okidokies are traditional seat covers, that go over top of the leather. A quick easy install is what they offer. They’re in no way comparable or better than replacement leather from lseat. Apples and oranges.
