Who is interested in doing group meals, I've already picked up supplies to do a spaghetti dinner and biscuits and gravy for breakfast

My "PTO" was approved Sat morning at coffee for this, so I'm confirmed as a passenger. @rockstate45 has offered a ride across KS, I just don't know what it's going to "cost" me yet. Also have no idea where I'm sleeping. Or where in the heck we're even going, to be completely honest. I'm totally channeling my mentor @tornadoalleycruiser on this just showing up to see where the wind takes me.

Seats open, it'll be the unemployment sas shuttle. Come over this week and we can prep some grub. I'll even kick Roo to the back for ya. If you wanna bring a critter we can do that also.

FWIW, plucked this off the NM forum. Looks like plenty of FCFS for those that are looking to disperse.

Chatted with Rob. I'm gonna prep some bfasts and some dinners. Jess colin and I are in for some group eating. Weird I'm not on mud as much now that I am busy and not sitting in a chair at work

Group dinners or clusters of group(s) meals are fine by me. I love to cook. Could be challenging with 15-17 people keep in mind.

Working with @2fpower and @rockstate45 (and anyone else who wants to chime in) on the itinerary for the week as far as trails go.

Lots of last minute fixes and packing. See ya in a week!

I would like to open this up to see what people want to run.....

Here are my top trail days I would recommend doing.

Wake up early to miss crowds, try to be on road by 8am, do Black Bear into Telluride, then take Imogene back, taking the bypass to the waterfall toward Govonor.. If you don't want to do Imogene and have a more casual drive back, last dollar road is really nice and easy.

MIneral Creek to Engineer to Lake City and back on Cinnimon

Other good trails/views/pics/waterfalls/flowers.

Easy and close would be Govenor, Sydney and Yankee Boy.

Don't forget the mining ghost towns at Animas

If you want to hike they have a perimeter hike there that goes all the way around Ouray, linking into the Box Canon falls -- spoiler alert.. you can't see the falls there...

Lael and I like to go up the mountains in our vehicle then hike up higher, so I am looking at trails that lead to lakes up high. I think you can hike to Crystal lake from the top of Ophir, but trying to confirm. We hiked at top of Yankee Boy as well.... Looks like you can hike a 14'r to the top of Mt. Snuffels there as well. I would be interested if anyone else has other hiking ideas.

Down. Black bear still closed?

Fishing permit info? What do we need to buy b4 we leave?

While I'm not as skilled at fly fishing as others, I do enjoy it. Will secure permit, securing permit probably means I won't actually catch anything.

$47 after all said and done online. I’m not great either but half the battle is knowing what to tie and where to throw. You all ready!?!
