I have owned this Bay Area work-horse since April 22, 1999 and I am the 3rd owner. I bought it with salvaged title (See #2 below regarding title) with 169,012 miles on odometer. I have used it as my daily driver during the last 20 years (average mileage comes to (7291.5 miles/year).
For regular maintenance/basic repairs it has been primarily cared for by Waylon @ Toy Shop, and Hans @ Hans Art. Gary @ Mudrak has overseen more intensive care issues such as front end rebuild, carb rebuild, and cylinder valve job., clutch replacement, and as source for body parts.
Truck comes with original owner’s manual and service records (including some from previous owner) July 1996 to August 2019.

Asking price is based on two factors:
#1 There is outer roof rust along the roof rain gutters, front passenger front door edge, and top of windshield pillars. For the last 2 years I have arrested rust, primed, and sealed tight with 3” Gorilla tape (change out every 6 months) and no interior leaks have ever occurred. There are some very minor body dings but otherwise the body and frame/underside are in very good rust-free condition.

#2 on May 2 2018 I was hit by a jetlagged tourist in San Francisco who took out original hood, passenger side fender, head/turn signal light bucket and lens, running lights, front bumper & front grille. My lousy insurance would not pay for body shop repair. I have since sourced and replaced all damaged body and accessory parts from Mudrak and put everything back together. It drives totally straight and has no known frame damage. I have had it aligned, Brake and Light Safety Inspected, passed CHP Certificate of Inspection (CHP 97C), and re-registered it with new plates as a “Revived Salvaged Vehicle Title” . I continue to drive it daily, albeit with a 3-tone paint scheme.

Asking $7000 obo REDUCED PRICE on 9/9/19 to $4750 (not interested in trade)

I am not attempting to be snarky, but are you serious at $7,000 or was that a typo? I wish you the best of luck, but seriously,
a salvage title....accident damage (not repainted).....cracked dash....ridiculous roof rust...ridiculous door rust....dirty"ish" interior and so on. Wow my head is spinning.

I was interested at first, until I saw the rust vs $$$$
A person would spend the sales price on body work/rust repair alone.
Good luck

I appreciate the feedback, I did do research on regional $$ prior to listing but obviously missed the mark. Will re-evaluate and once I find a vacuum valve will update.

REVISED PRICE $4750 cash no trade

vacuum valve fixed and line replaced, starts and runs well
including under photos
