Drove by an 80 series converted over to Bio-Diesel. Parked in the Entropic parking lot right next door to AMCC in Sorrento Mesa. About a 2.5" lift. Didn't see the front bumper. Kaymar Dual Pivot Rear Bumper with Passenger side Tire carrier. For some reason don't remember the color but I wanna say... green. Snorkel too. Will check again tomorrow. Big fat sticker on the rear window says "Bio-Diesel.

Owner reveal thyself.

Thats called a "Greenie Hostility Protection" sticker

Was it this one Welcome to West Coast Cruisers

I work in Sorrento Mesa and saw this one a copuple of weeks ago driving down Sorrento Valley rd. and was drooling. If I had the disposable $$$$$ I would consider buying.

Yup, that's the one. Checked it out up close and personal. It's in nice shape.

If I had the disposable $$$, I'd buy a 100 series :)

Nice vehicle. I did notice the dreaded bubbling paint/rust on the rear hatch below the window.

That is a damn nice 80, but if I had $43k I would build a turbo 100 series with a SAS. :grinpimp:

Mike is a member of San Diego Beach and Toys with me. You think this rig is cool you should see his 2007 70 series truck he bought and imported brand new from I believe Saudi Arabia. He brought it to one of our club meetings a few month ago. It looked like it was fresh off the lot.

Does this guy have "diplo" plates????

How do you pull that off?

A used one like this would suffice for me:

I am not entirly sure how he manages but he did say it was months of work and thousands of dollars. The one he got was apparently just sitting dusty on a lot.
