I really like the look of this snorkel and have looked into it in some detail. Sparked a debate about air flow like every other snorkel thread on here. Generally, I think the concerns about performance hits due to air restriction are mostly theoretical in that we are talking about a 7000 lb box shaped SUV and not a sports car. If you need a snorkel, a loss of a few hp at WOT is not really a big concern. Just my opinion for the way I use my 200. (please all, no debate on air flow here. Whatever you think about that is right for you).

I've decide on the Fabulous Fabrications snorkel because I also like the way it looks and it is stainless steel and I can get it powder coated. The monster fiberglass one needs painting and as you have pointed out that is either expensive or a PITA. Rhino lining may be an option but still. Ultimately I'm curious how robust the Monster snorkel is. Any snorkel I have is going to get hit by a lot of tree branches. But dang, it does look cool! Kudos for giving it a shot.
like I said fiberglass is not a strong material for offload , in some spots I can see the light from the other side , so I primed it very well , I tell you the truth that I did not fully install it was not comfortable to drill the hole in the fender , so I just use strong double side tape to glue it. like I said look very astonishing, practicality ZERO. For the true off road I use my LX450 with true snorkel.
