Love the look. Low profile.

Hello

any news on the install, are You satisfied with the quality, considering to order as well, Thanks
I am not satisfied with a painting process as it is unpainted professionally pained fiberglass cost about $600 so I did it by myself in some spots looks like "I did it" I have not install it yet

has anyone tried to use a 3M type of adhesive tape to mount the snorkel to the A-pillar? Drilling out a fender is one thing...

I've considered a snorkel but probably not needed yet for what I currently do...

I've used VHB tape before and it's pretty good, but given the force of wind double roughly every 10mph I wouldn't trust that to hold at high speed. At that point you're relying on the bolts mounted into the fender to hold the snorkel in place. That's a lot of leverage.

You mean 12" in circumference. 12" in diameter could be a huge intake.

That said curious to see how the install went.

Still no install?

Any chance we can see under the hood...? Btw looks fantastic. My two major concerns 1. Airflow to the V8. 2. SNOW build up blocking the intake.
Best

the flow is good I show all the metrics on the pictures, snow can be a problem , it does have side openings, but yes perhaps need some type of a cloth dust cover during a snow. Looks good but practicality probably 0% more aesthetic that true snorkeler.

I really like the look of this snorkel and have looked into it in some detail. Sparked a debate about air flow like every other snorkel thread on here. Generally, I think the concerns about performance hits due to air restriction are mostly theoretical in that we are talking about a 7000 lb box shaped SUV and not a sports car. If you need a snorkel, a loss of a few hp at WOT is not really a big concern. Just my opinion for the way I use my 200. (please all, no debate on air flow here. Whatever you think about that is right for you).

I've decide on the Fabulous Fabrications snorkel because I also like the way it looks and it is stainless steel and I can get it powder coated. The monster fiberglass one needs painting and as you have pointed out that is either expensive or a PITA. Rhino lining may be an option but still. Ultimately I'm curious how robust the Monster snorkel is. Any snorkel I have is going to get hit by a lot of tree branches. But dang, it does look cool! Kudos for giving it a shot.
