That may be the way to go as I really like the INTI.

I do like all that extra room in the Mombasa. It is like a freakin' condo up there.

But I really want the storage area of the jerry can cage and the light moutning up there as I am always looking for a place to put more crap when going on trips.

Information is much appreciated.

Wouldn't be hard to push the rack up front more and extend the actual rack. Any fab shop should be able to do it... or if you have the means. The only thing that would suck is to ruin the nice powder coat by welding on it. You'd have to get it re-powder coated. Maybe you can bolt on some type of support bracket outback for the tent? Like a small sub-frame that bolts on the back.

Yes, I have been scheming a way to fab up a "support bracket" off of the back. But, as Alvaro said, most of the end of the tent hangs off of the Yakima bars anyway. I could perhaps just keep an extra Yakima bar back there if I was really worried about it.
I e-mailed Gary at Mudrak for an exact measurement.
I will update you on what I do.

Once again I find myself sitting here drooling over Jeb's 80.
;)

VERY NICE!
