Check this out: Sherman, Wyoming Photos There's a few old ghost towns up there (not much at all left really) but not too far from Veedauwoo was the Dale Creek Trestle, the tallest timber bridge on the Union Pacific. Only the foundations remain today, but it would have been a sight to see. Next time I'm home I want to check this thing out:

Next time I'm in the area though it would be awesome to hook up with the CO/WY club.

It would be really cool to find the foundations! Do you know how to get there from Veedauwoo?

I spent a lot of time in Veedauwoo from 1996 until 2003 driving most of the trails (unfortunately some of now are closed, some are now on private property  ) and climbing. There is a powerful enough draw for me that I've thought about going back to Laramie for my masters degree.

Unfortunately, I won't be around Veedawoo for a while. :frown: There's others in the area though; I know Minipig wouldn't mind getting up there and Rescue Wagon is in Cheyenne as well.

Reading thru this thread I noticed the OP hasn't been on Mud in over eight years. Last post will be ten years ago in November.
Yes.
