Nice rig Sam and Tree!
I look forward to our next trip to the creek...hopefully it'll be a little less crowded.

Thanks Doug, We went down two weeks later to take some pics for ROTW, and lets just say we got to test the snorkel out. Its amazing how quickly it changes down there in the winter. Looking forward to it again with the group.

Tree,

Speaking of the snorkel. I spoke to Mudrak and he said that it was better to keep replacing those rubber insulated nuts on the A pillar instead of putting rivet nuts in.
He argues that if you hit a tree branch with rivet nuts it can do some serious damage to the A pillar.
I replaced my rubber insulated nuts this weekend and the snorkel is firm now.

I would say that I live in one of the steepest areas in the country.

I lived in Grass Valley when I was in 3rd-6th grade, and I'll second the hills, everywhere..... all hills, and behind that hill are more hills.

Nice rig! Nice house too. Got the same $$$ problem. Cash goes to the house and not the ride! All in due time.
Where did you get the rear bumper?

Are you telling me that you didn't read our life story that was at the begining of this thread? LOL, it was a little long. Thanks for the compliments. The rear bumper is a custom 4x4 Labs bumper from Luke Porter. Final cost was just about $2,200. We are very happy with it.

I looked all over for the post and didn't see anything on the bumper.Thanks.
Seems like alot of $$ for the bumper, but looks like it is worth it.

Just giving you a hard time. The bumper was expensive but not a hole lot more than competative products, and we had some add ons such as extra side protection, ladder, and light tabs. It fits very tightly to the truck and provides great clearance.

That bumper is a thing of beauty. Did you have to cut the frame or is it a simple bolt-on? Looks like cutting is called for, but I could be wrong.

Thanks, The 4x4 labs bumper requires the rear cross member to be removed. Luke has tested and tried his rear bumper. Seems to makle the rear stronger. From my understanding, this limits your ability with long range fuel tanks, howefver we love the bumper.
