Kinda funny.....from the MLK to Cruiser Crawl I have seen this rig come FAR:D

Congrats BUD!

36 bias plys are that bad ......are they 36X12.50 or the 14.50s ?

Also- is this your DD ?

Mine is full time play toy- so maybe it would not be that bad ?

Was my Daily until last week when I bought a Scion tC.... but the wagon will become my "drive to work truck" five miles one way in about a month or so.
Need to slow down on it due to a severely puking rear-main seal.

If you scar the tires on rocks they get pretty bad and need to run at low presure if you want to go over 45mph. Maybe some BB's
One hour to the trail head... tolerable
4 hours to the trail head... no dice

Your wifes 80 was an inspiration.

It hasn't stopped! I'm cutting more metal next month!

OK, so there it is… probably the most ghettoed rig to ever make ROTW. I tell you, Cattywampus is such a nice rig. I try to use my imagination to make up for money when it comes to mods, I hope you enjoyed it.

Thanks I did. Doesn't look ghetto. Good idea using the rear crossmember as a bumper and welding on d rings, the tube side protection looks good too. Front bumpers sweet, did you cut the grill to clear a winch or did it just break? Why do you need to lower your bump stops, did you lower it or are you rshocks bottoming out cause you drooped them, just curious. Cheers.

Here's why the grill was cut...

The bumpstops need to be lowered so that the compressed tire does not rub your inner fender causing damage to both your tire and fender. How much the bumpstops need to be lowered depends on tire diameter and lift you have.

Nice rig Eric. Miss wheeling with ya! Will need to make sure we hit Morris Mtn or Grey Rock in the near future!

You made it in a pic in my ROTW!
We are trying to figure out a good weekend for Morris Mtn very soon.... like within the next few weeks. I love to do day trips up there.
Also, ya'll still doing Beasley in Sept?

yes we are. I will try to get my front axle rebuilt (and knuckle replaced) soon so I can make it to a short notice trip.

Great Rig! I look forward to wheeling with you when I move back to ATL.

Dude we have to go wheeling some time. If you don't mind, i'd love to come to morris mtn with ya'll.

Nice rig and write up. Could you post the Festoon Dome Light Bulb part no. or bulb length that you purchased thru autolumination.com? Could not find your buddy's link. That is a good price and I need to finish putting LEDs in.

Nice work. Really like the front bumper and all the cuttin' and tuckin'.

With all the Home Depot bling on there, have you thought about just caulking up the rear main? :D

Here's some pics from Grayrock...

I can't believe I hadn't thought of that!

This is the funniest thing I've heard in a long time.

I hear ya'll had fun at the Ramble in my absence

Thanks for the pics... I've never seen them.

Great write-up and the Cattywampus is ghetto-fabulous!

Seriously, nice rig, thanks for sharing and Weagle, Weagle!

Ben
