Roseville, CA Meet & Greet - 1st Annual Gear and Beer

Hola everyone! Jackcovers.com and Porter's House of Draft are putting together a Meet and Greet for Sunday Aug 21, 2016. Location will be Porter's HOD - 7456 Foothills Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747. Some great food will be on site, beer specials at Porter's, vendors on site with some great products. This will be a mix of off-roaders, campers, overlanders, crawlers, etc. Basically a bunch of outdoor enthusiast groups with significant crossover. This will be a family friendly event.

Event Starts at 10 AM. Be sure to check out the Facebook event page for more details and to RSVP Meet & Greet - 1st Annual Gear and Beer

Any questions or input please feel free to post up or send a PM. If you are a vendor or group interested in participating please send a PM.

What time does it start?

What if you don't have a Facesnaptagram?

We don't discriminate! No Facesnaptagram needed! Show up at Porter's House of Draft around 10 AM, with your awesome rig, a few friends, and a good attitude.... and be ready for a good time!

Will there be any vendors present?

I would like to know if any charter members from the old Sacramento Valley Cruisers (late '70s, early '80s) are still in the area and plan to show up.

We will be there of course, Jackcovers.com, with our jack covers, recovery gear, Skottle kits, etc. There will be some product reps there handing out some products as well. We are talking with some other vendors who have not committed yet, and will update here once we have confirmation. Any industry vendors are welcome to join the event, and just need to send me a PM to discuss space needs, etc.

It would be GREAT to have some old cruisers attend!!!

Uh, what if I don't have an "awesome" rig and instead have a rusty one? Can I still come? Oh, also...no friends :p

No awesome rig required! Rust adds character! ....and what better place to make new friends than at a MEET & GREET!?!?!

^^^ So you are coming all the way from Idaho? @Lycent

How about some old FARTS? :hillbilly::lol:

Old farts, young farts, beer farts (in the designated areas only please) are all welcome to join in on the fun!!

We have seen posts on different forums regarding wheeling the day before, and the day of, the event. The best place to connect with others regarding trail runs is on the Facebook event page, where people from all different forums can connect in one place on line. If you have not yet RSVP there, the link is below. You can also post up regarding trail runs, etc.

@vipergrhd Nope, prolly need to update my info on here... I took a new job in Sac, living in Roseville. I did drive the 40 down here in May when I first came. Took a circuitous route that got me here from Boise in just a shade under 24 hours driving time. That's making good time, right? :D

^^^ Glad to know your not driving from Idaho.

this could be amusing...
I'll see what I can do about blocking out that day...

wait...will I know anyone there?

the beers...
