Roof Top Tent for my 80, trying to decide

Ok, actually have a tent question...after looking through some camping type threads, have narrowed my camping options to a rooftop or a sport tent.

Should I go with a rooftop top or a SUV Sport tent (the tent with the elastic waistband that attaches to the back of my 80)?

I see advantages to both, but the sport tent is detachable, cheaper and bigger than a rooftop, so I am leaning that way.
