so that is what they are called, first time I have seen anybody use them here. I inherited mine from my Dad
Those are Cleco's holding the front upper panels on.....

I really can't say enough about the Aqualu body..they are real nice. Its more work than a steel body due to having to cut out for the gauges, hinges, etc. If your going to drive it and keep it..go alluminum IMO.

Thanks for the compliments guys..and yes we do work on customers vehicles :-).

Here is a spy shot of the hinge...I still have to thin it out and rip the surface down at an angle.

OOoOh those are some pretty chunks of lu lu...

With your mad skills:popcorn: it would be easy to machineup a center section of the dash that is removable like the 1983 FJ40.

Would look sick.

Incredible build! I've got relatives out near Canton. Depending on mood, I either go out through Wheeling or up through Youngstown when I visit them. This looks like a reason to head the northern route if there is a chance of stopping in to see your work!

Just signing in to say how much I love your build.

... And that I hate you with the jealous fury of a thousand burning suns. :'(

Wow!!!!! Amazing!!!!

I helped D'animal alittle and was stoked how it came out , yours is like rolling art .... What are you doing next and any updates? Don't mess with us we want more cruiser porn!!!

Any further progress on this awesome truck?

Just ripped through 14 pages of a 6 year old project and its not done!

FxxxING awesome. An early ribbed dash would look right at home alongside that split hood.
