@Bambi Girl Haven't been here for a while. Been dealing with some (really) serious spousal issues. On the up-side, it might just be that I've got some extra spare time in the future. So I might just be in for option 1
. Is that job offer still on??
Got extremely lucky on the hood. The partsguy I bought it from didn't know it was 1 of the last in europe. And I didn't feel the need to fill him in
. I now know why the original one rusted out so thoroughly. I guess seamsealer was in short supply in Japan???? Before painting, I spent almost 2 hours sealing all the seams to prevent it happening again.
Raingutter is in sceduled with the body so it'll probably be next year unless I get really bored over the winter. I'll be sure to contact you for advice.
What did Nat do to the body?? What's the gray stuff?
Nice work on the filleropening
You've got a great color on the split rims. I love mine, only they're a few shades to light in color. I'm not a real purist but I do believe they belong on our trucks
@Brad 1979 HJ45 , thanks bro
Finally found some time yesterday to get some work done. Alas I forgot my camera so sadly no pics. But I got her rolling on her own power again for the first time in 2 months
. I did found out that when troubleshooting on the EDIC, it is real easy to get acces with the front left fender off, but you DO have to remember to supply a ground to the EDIC relay

dumb

. Plus the PO lived by the sea, so that doesn't help. And finally, the last refurb the sponge got was a bodge job. NO new metal just glassfiber over rust, apply 1/2 inch bondo and away you go...
