I picked up a set of rock warriors last month that were scratched up and needed to be re-finished. I am deciding between powder coating black or gunmetal. The rings are being cut and will remain polished (its being done at performance industries as other members have done). My LC is a Black 15'. Any photos of Rock Warriors on Black LC's is appreciated! After completed I'm mounting up a set of KO2's.

With a black truck, I would go with powder coating the wheels black. I don't have the Rock Warriors, but I did have my Tundra rims powder coated and they were right at $400 for all 5 rims.

What do you mean by the "rings are being cut"? Thx!

Here you go...I plastic dipped the rings only and like the look. Also have the KO2s on.

Oh. Also there is a plastic dip color that matches the grey on the wheel. I touched mine up (since I do go Offroad and do see scratches ). So cheaper that having to do the entire wheel.

For me I know I'm going to scratch them again - so plastic dip obvious choice

@BTUMAN - Which plasti dip color matches the grey on the rock warriors? Anthracite? And do you happen to have a picture of a touched up wheel?

@LXNJ570 Mine came with the center cap and the rings plasti-dipped black. I was going for a stock RW look at first, but stopped halfway after cleaning the center caps. I painted the TRD logo black as a test before going to the standard red, but left it on because I preferred the look. I also painted the outer ring of the center cap black to match the logo.

Red on black. Some assembly required

@cruiseroutfit - That setup looks very familiar! Are those powercoated/painted/other?

I've still not powder coated mine as the plastidip has held up amazingly well over 2 years.

Wheels and rings are coated, we've done black and white on the the wheels

I've found a set of RW wheels in my area I am looking at. They need a bit of TLC. Would plasti-dip be enough to fix the discoloration or is powder coating the way to go? Any other options for restoration?

Are they missing the bead rings? If so, keep looking, you should be able to find a clean set pop up on CL locally soon enough.

How much are they asking for the set??

the beads are included and are in decent shape. they are asking $600 for 4. All the others are in decent shape, includes lugs, just no TPMS. the picture above is the only wheel with discoloration, seems like it can be fixed, just time and money. any other advice on rehabbing it?

Those would be perfect for the guys looking to split a set for spares!
(See other rock warrior thread on next page of durum posts).

When getting RW refinished (painted or powder coated), does anyone know if the bolts can be purchased separately? I am going to have a set of RWs PowderCoated satin/matte black, but would like the option to use different color bolts for the rings.
