Those look about like mine did before PC, I'd say a little bit better. My wheels were so bad I didn't even take before pics, they just made me sad. They will strip/soda or media blast and then powder coat them. These are the wheels I am looking at purchasing locally. I'm just wondering if they can be polished up to look new ish. I know I can purchase new center caps.

I've done both and now I run without the rings. Plastidip works fine on it, but the corrosion in screw holes...not caused by the plastidip...made removing screws a pain in the rear.Old thread bump!
Curious if anyone has thoughts on whether I could run these without the rock rings for an extended period of time in all seasons, and still expect the rock rings to install cleanly several years down the line. Just clean out the threads and install the rings? Or would corrosion mess them up over time to a point that the rock rings would no longer install properly?
Also curious if anyone has any experience painting/plasti-dipping the fasteners. I'd like to run these either with A) no rock ring at all or B) rock ring blacked out including fasteners. I'm buying a set of these, but I'm just not a fan of the overt bling-ness of this wheel.
