@Delta VS any word on these sliders? Are they ready to purchase? Pricing? Been a while since you commented about making the first run in January.

Is the front/leading edge of the Delta VS sliders a big flat face? That doesn't seem like it would help slide up and over a rock very well as ones rolls the front tire over the obstacle.

How about all the holes in the cat skid? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Cheers

Not much word. Finally got the details worked out and material has arrived at the shop (ordered the first time in January but had two shops fail on us). Working them into the production schedule now.

Sooooooo worth the wait! They are amazing!

Thanks @Delta VS

I just got the driver's side of the new @Delta VS rock sliders installed.

Very, very clean! Amazing quality! I just can't get over it everything Delta I get is an absolute well-thought-out work of art.

Great. I got the slee transfer case protection plate but held off on the belly plate because i wasn’t sure if it will work with the delta sliders. Appreciate you offering to take a pic!

You ever get a chance to snap any pics man?
Oh man.... Sorry. I went out 2 months ago for photos and got lost ;)

Thank you man. It's funny because the Slee skid plate you have installed is the same one I ordered from Slee last year. Still in the wrapper. But now I see they also have a much bigger "belly" skid plate that I guess replaces the factory transmission crossmember and has more protection as it's a much bigger piece. I am debating to either juts install the smaller part I already have (the one on your truck) or buy their bigger skid plate and risk it not fitting or being compatible with the Delta sliders. Do you think the smaller one is sufficient enough?

I originally wanted the iron pig skid plate but it wasn't available before I did the Rubicon last year. I ordered the slee in a hurry.

3 days on the Rubicon I never made contact that I know of with the slee belly plate.

Similar to my sliders I wanted the deltas but they were not ready so I went with a set of metal tech for the Rubicon trip, they performed great and took a severe beating.

I don't plan to rock crawl on my Land Cruiser so I feel like my armor is sufficient enough. My Delta skid plate for the cats is new and I have yet to paint it and add the additional half inch armor to the cat guard. That older Delta cat guard and heavy duty plate took a severe beating on sour grass Trail a couple months ago.

I guess at the end of the day some armor is better than no armor and how much is too much? I think the best of the best is the iron pig but like I mentioned this slee did fine and there's no interference with the Delta sliders.

I'm not familiar with a smaller slee guard.
