this is my 85' fj60 on fj80 coils w/ a 5.3l ,custom bumpers,sliders(not pictured) 4-linked front/rear atlas 4 to 1, 4l80e soon to come fj80 factory locked axles, int. cage, and paint !! can't wait to drive this beast .

Looks TALL, what tire size are you planning on running?

was going to run the 37"s but will probably switch to 40"s - still tweaking the suspension, and will probably drop it another 2" !!
 
I like your bumpers and how your rear wraps around for your chopped quarter pannel protection. How are you planning on controlling you 4L80e?

I have the complete harness and pcm for my package, that was reprogramed from fuel injection specialists in texas - everything from gear ratios, tire size, and trans. shift points were all taken into consideration !! they claim to produce at least 360 hp and the drive train will think I'm on stock tires..

Unless you've done some work on the motor, don't bet on that 360hp... But it'll still be a ball to drive. I had fun smoking the 42's in front of my neighbor's house.. :grinpimp:

well the 5.3l is supposed to come stock with 320hp - the harness is being stripped of all unneccesery emmissions hardware w/ a reprogram to the pcm so an extra 40 hp with aftermarket intake, headers, exhaust and 6.0l injectors might just work!! w'ell see. I'll just be happy to have a v8 instead of the slug it came with...
 
6.0 injectors? hadn't heard of this mod.. Most guys are having to run a larger TB first before they get anywhere near the flow limit of the injectors. Mine is the flex fuel model though, so they flow a little bit more.

I'm running an '04 5.3, converted back to a cable-pull TB. was 295hp stock.

I'll never go back to a pre-LS engine, ever, after working on this one. Everything fits so nice, the o-ring gaskets are great, and the motor is pretty light for an iron block...

sorry, your right ! I forgot to state the addition of the 6.o TB - I also went with the cable activated one, less electronics and about $500.00 cheaper!!
 
that is mighty nice!! What coils are you running? THey look like either slee 4 or 6 inch?

I also like the rear bumper! very clean and tight to the body.
