I went and looked at it the other day. It would be a great rig to just keep it as a patina ride. The tub has a “twist” to it, the drivers side metal in front of the door has separated from the door frame. The frame looks ok, I can’t see a twist in it. At some point the fan blades let loose, there is holes is shroud and hood where a blade came through. Needs rear sill. Has an electric fuel pump but it still not getting fuel, will probably need a new tank, we could get it to run by pouring fuel into the Weber carb. The master cylinder for the clutch is dry, no fluid, leaking somewhere. I would have bought it but….it will need a VTR 68A inspection in Texas and a 3 year bonded title here. The inspections are only done on Thursdays in towns south of Dallas (Hutchins, Mansfield, or Duncanville)show up at 8 o’clock am and get in line. That’s done by police officers working for the North Texas auto task force… ?
The only working electrics is the ignition. It will need some chasing down on electrical issues.
For 5800$ I think it’s worth it for the right person. The seller is super nice guy, who seems honest to the core
