Reverse problem on 80 series. (1 Viewer)

My 96' lx450 sometimes sputters when i put it in reverse and it has cut of one time when slowly backing down a hill. Anyone have this problem? thanks

there used to be but I just got the c. converter changed out for a fresh one.

Sometimes reverse stutter and stall can be attributed to a burnt wiring harness by the egr valve at back of valve cover by firewall. Id open it up and inspect carefully. Repair as needed, wrap with heat insulation and secure away from hot egr line

On another note. Chime in to olde north state cruisers to meet some local cruiserheads. Lots of folks in the rdu area and a monthly eat n greet was last night.

It ended up being the air filter tube was split because of dry rotting. Everything is running great after I replaced it!
