Resonance in the steering wheel of my new 2014 LC (1 Viewer)

I have the same steering resonance (I can feel it in the wheel - very slight, like almost a hummmm, but it's there) on my '15....now at 1500 miles. Happens only when I accelerate. Burn only 87 since new.
Happens when cold & warmed up -0- difference.

Any new details...anybody?

Burn premium 35k miles not vibs. New Michelins. Engine makes some nice noises when you push it but no vibs. Mines a LX570. Seems to be more of a LC issue versus LX. But they are trucks

LX requires premium.....LC owners manual says 87

Put more rubber on it and those "vibes" vanish.

I also get some resonance - but have assumed it was due to it being an all wheel drive vehicle. In my case it doesn't "feel" like its engine (fuel) related - but rather driveline.

Mine is definitely a driveline feel...and it's only at certain RPM. I can hammer down on the pedal and it will go away. But it definitely is there in normal driving/acceleration.

I drove a 2014 LX for 20k miles.

It was FLAWLESS, no vibrations.

I recently sold it to go backwards to an 08 ( don't ask, sometimes necessary things need to happen, and quick).

The 08 has a VIBRation coming up the steering wheel. This in not normal. Yes, I know, it is a used truck, but ...

I purchased a 06 LX NEW which had a number of problems it was so annoying and one of the issues was this VIBRATION coming up the steering wheel, at certain rpm. Perfectly quiet truck, and then, this VIBration, grrrr, not what Toyota intended.

I traded for an 07 LX and drove 4 years 80k miles and it was PERFECT!!! No vibrations!!! And NO problems. This one was one of the very last ones to be built in Aug 07! Maybe special care went into this hand built specimen?

I had tested 3 more 07s at different dealers, none of which had these issues I had with the 06, including the incredible throttle lag that made it feel like it was ACCELERATING into the vehicle in front of me before I could get to the brake pedal in 5th slight downhill freeway, unexpected every time. Mechanics could never find the problem with this perfect product with the perfect 4.7 engine ;). Shortly after I got rid of that beast all kinds of accusations came out about Toyota and now they paranoidly check the floor mat every time I bring it in for service ...

Yes, I do have a unique vantage point and will spend the next years hunting for this vibration in my 08. Very hard to find these things short of pouring in big bucks so I will concentrate on making this 08 like NEW as I a tired of buying new expensive machine that I have big trouble with every second time. It doesn't matter whether Toyota or Landrover. If there is a problem the mechanics are challenged. if they manage to find a problem there is always big excitement in the shop.

I have successful cured similar problems in a couple of other vehicles. I had better luck with used vehicles given patience. It often was some kind of flexible part going stiff more often then not. On a new one, a little bit different. It is sad that so often the dealers don't try hard enough.

I hope you are still trying to solve this problem as it really is not correct. Nothing to do with OCDs.

None of us are OCD........... I just pulled my front suspension apart for the 5th time looking for a vibration/tap on compression and or rebound (Found it). That's normal. Everyone does it. Right?

So what your vibration tap on compression? I haven't found mine with the radflo set up.

Ahhh, I posted it in my Koni 90 thread.
Lower Shock shaft contacting LCA. Had to grind some relief.
