got 5 pairs left. these are new reproductions of the vent grill on the inside of the cargo area. most of them shatter when you touch them they're so brittle from age and abuse. these are highly flexible and fit and look great. only in white, but you can dye or paint them any color you want for those that have custom interiors. we've had great luck with the hammerite paints. fits late 72 and later fj55s with the vent by the rear quarter marker light.

$25 plus $5.05 shipping.

Got 'em...very nice indeed!!

Got 'em, thanks Ige!

I've worked with composites for a couple of decades:

One comment, I think the plastic is urethane-based, if it is, the
plastic will be sensitive to UV sun rays over time and will turn brown and get a bit brittle. IF they are poured urethane, I'd recommend a coat of paint on them. I plan to paint mine anyways, so they'll be fine for many many years...

Comments Ige?

Thank again!
George

glad you got em...hope you like em

i believe they are cast polyurethane. i'm not too up on this stuff. i don't suspect many (if any) will use them without painting them some sort of color...the white is kind of hideous;) i'm just trying to decide on black or gray.

just curious, my piggy came dissasembled, are these vents necessary really? do they just vent the area down in this cavity? I don't even have the old panels so I will need to make complete new ones.

you have a 70, so you don't have the vents. they didn't appear until 73ish

$ isn't even permitting wheeling yet along fabrication :frown:

:frown: Gottcha...I got stuff and no time and I want more stuff and got no money. Alas.

But if you do fab in the future...a cool thing for your plastics would be the inner and outer corner strips for the headliner.
