Redoing my quarter glass sliders

Install the length that has the drain holes first.
I am, but the drain holes don't align because it seems like the window run is too big. I'm comparing it to the old one and it definitely looks way too big. Once I fit it, I have so much material left over. All of that is excess material.

The second photo shows it centered, but none of the drain holes align. I am so confused.

Maybe you got the wrong part.
 
I'm starting to think it is wrong. But I purchased it from a reputable dealer in Japan, with the correct part number.

I used Partsoq to find the part nu.ber and sourced it on eBay from a Japanese OEM seller.

Remove the old one and lay it out next to the new one. Are the drain holes in the same spot?

Reputable dealer and eBay is a oxymoron. Most eBay sellers are not selling genuine OEM parts but low quality imitations.
