Sorry it took me so long to respond, I've been elk hunting since the 4th and haven't had internet access. Apparently the elk don't need wi-fi!
There shouldn't be any trimming needed but I can't say for sure. I know that the skid was built around my MetalTech sliders but that is on my '97. Worst case, you would have to notch a bit out of the foot. It wouldn't compromise the strength at all.

Thanks for a great product.
Aaron, you designed a killer mount for the Amsoil remote filter system. This thing is beefy and I am able to install and remove it without taking down the skidplate. The drilling was a lot easier with the skidplate out.

Since I probably have skid plate # 000000001 and will be putting it on my 80, should I take a picture or somthing to document the occassion??!!!
p.s. I do have to re-paint it... the red has turned ...well.... sort of pink!!!! Howz Hammerite silver sound??!!

UPDATE! We are currently out of the raw matterial for these. I know that there are 2 other people interested. If we can get a few more, we can order up some more steel. Let me know!
