I just picked up my 200 last night. It's a 2015 black/black with 48k miles. I haven't driven a 200 since the revised 2013 came out about 4-5 years ago. The 200 is in a word: exquisite. It's exactly what I wanted from a daily.

3 SUV's drive like nothing else in my opinion: Porsche Cayenne Gen 2, Range Rover Full Size, and the 200 series Landcruiser.

I called it an Espresso Cruiser because Starbucks Cruiser doesn't sound that good. :D

For now that's what it will be, I got the LC because I need a lower profile when traveling for work and scope for upgrading later when it's time to replace suspension and bumpers.

The truck has brand new Bridgestone Duelers on it and I want Bfgoodrich KO2's so bad - but I find it hard to part with what are brand new tires. Nice dilemma to have haha.

I wanted to thank everyone in the forum, you guys are so nice and helpful to everyone it's really nice to be a part of the community.

Nice rig! I have the KO2s and they are nice. There's a recent post around here about odd wear pattern/"slices" down the centerline of the wheels, I have 6k miles on mine and all tires are starting to show the wear. Honestly not sure I really care nor whether there will be any long term issues but figured I'd let you know, although clearly a systemic issue with the KO2s, doesn't seem like a big problem but I could be wrong.

And you should be able to get a few hundo for your stock tires as you trade up.

Nice find!

Not to sound like an enabler, but the seller's market for used tires on Craigslist has served me well in the past. Don't give up on your KO2 plans so quickly ;) I was shocked how much I actually got for my gently-used Coopers that came from the previous owner.

What size are your KO2's and what tire pressure are you running?

I don't recall size off top, and traveling so away from the truck currently. It's either 285/65/18 or 275/70/18 - on stock 13 LC rims.

Cold pressure is 38, warm pressures around 42/43psi.

You might want to try the following recommended Cold Tire Inflation Pressures:

LT285/65-18: 42psi F/R

LT275/70-18: 41psi F/R

Might help even out tread wear.

Are those pressures from BFG?

Trade up to better A/T tires so I can live vicariously through you! Nice looking rig. Any more pics?

Congrats! Good looking rig.

Thank you!

Haha looks like I have to then. I remember how excited I was to see A/T tires on other 200's.

I was planning on taking more pics, but after the third row seat removal and the addition of some window tint on the front windows I thought I'd wait until I could take some some more pics. In short: more pics on the way!

EDIT: I actually learned about the proper inflating of A/T tires from @gaijin and plan on having the right pressures once I manage to throw some on!

BFG KO2's mounted! 275/70/18
Love how they fill the wheel wells. Thanks for the advice everyone. They're inflated to 41 psi.

Always amazing how different the LC looks just going from stock to ATs.

Looks great!

OK... what's next?
...because there is ALWAYS a NEXT... :hillbilly:

Haha just brakes in the immediate future. New stock rotors and TRD pads, the rear pads may not fit because they changed part numbers but I'll see if it does if not I'll just put stock pads in the back.

After that I'm thinking Slee Sliders, it may be tough to get past the wife but she did say she wanted to go offroading in it "But babe, sliders are one of the most important things to protect the truck!" :)

I do like the white sidewalls being out on the black truck, looks nice!

Show her Atwalz build thread, page 6, where his sliders protected his truck from an idiot in a Mustang. May help sell the sliders. :steer:

I love my KO2's. If you have to drive in snow as I have for the last few weeks, you won't be disappointed. They absolutely outperform my last set of Nitto Terra grapplers hands down and the Duelars are complete garbage in my opinion unless you're using the LC for mall runs. Lol

+1 I can't wait for the next snow storm.

Haha and to think I was only imagining the protection in mall parking lots!

Future Mod thoughts:

It's funny when people get tires as big as mine they usually have a lift. My truck looks strange with such beefy tires and no lift. I swore to myself I would do suspension at 100k miles. Either I have to drive it more or get it now :)

Why wait 100k for a better ride? Most suspension upgrades offer less bounce and lean even on the street. Unless you prefer a mushy ride...you'll see a huge difference (for the better) even if you don't wheel it...

And so starts the sickness. :wrench:

Only after $10-20K in mods are you cured. :steer:
