Recovery ramps?????

My grandfather got craploads of landing mat that he bought for his farm way back when army jeeps were a dime a dozen. That stuff is COOL.
 
The ramps are usually squashed in the mud or wedged somehow so not real likely to move much. One reason to try not to spin too much is so the tires don’t get shredded. A caution with any kind of ramp, board or whatever is after crossing the center point the back end can kick up and get jammed in the under parts so it’s good to take it easy.
 
In a thread a while back, someone suggested cutting a milk crate up, via the corners, then zip tying the 5 panels together, gives you a little more than five feet of traction. If the zip ties are loose enough you can fold the panesl into a sqaure to store. Don't know how strong they would be, but may be enough to get yourself out of a snowy or sandy situation.
